Crossroads challenge.
This one is completely Ryuu's fault, just... for being there, I suppose. And then not telling me I was on crack when I said it.

"Why are we here again?" Daniel was being snippy.
Carter was finding that he was always snippy. "This is where they said they bury their suicides." She wondered if Daniel noticed that she was shaking, her hands clenching and unclenching unconsciously.
A hand touched her shoulder, she glanced at Teal'c. "These crossroads appear deserted, Colonel Carter."
"Thank you, Teal'c." She searched, eyes traveling over the rock and dirt until she saw it. A small rounded stone, a name scrawled on it. The grave was obviously not recent. She knelt, fingers tracing the name, soft guilt touching her. "Hello, Ambassador Faxon."

That would be....totally amazing. She'd be this technology expert and he's this governement official and they have really cute children and then Jack& crew come for the funeral and it's SAM who gives Jack the information that shit is going down and there's all this ANGST and OMFG! YAY!....:brain hurts from the concept:
