Er. So. There are these new spoilers for the end of the season....

So. The final five four are revealed to be:

Tigh.
Tyrol.
Tory.
Anders.

Excuse me while I dissolve into hysterical giggles.

So. The Cylons Have a Plan. But no one actually knows what it is. Because, logically, why would they station three sleeper agents on the Galactica, and also send in Doral AND Leoben, not to mention Baltar's headtrip?

Because Galactica is special.

Adama is a Cylon. Without his order, the battlestar would have gone into battle and been destroyed.

You see. The Cylons are really pan-dimensional beings who sometimes look like mice. And they decided that, since the last time they tried to run the program to discover the Question to the Ultimate Answer everything was botched so badly, they'd shortcut it. A little over two thousand years instead of ten thousand.

So they did it a bit bigger, for more effect--kinda like having more RAM when you want to run Photoshop, Paintshop and Winamp all at once. It's as big as a small universe, with lots of made-up history: Kobol, the exodus to Earth... Earth is, of course, real. Because the program isn't complete without that little backwater in the spiral arm--plus, they have to piss off the Vogons SOMEHOW.

They are, of course, really in debt to the Magratheans by now.

And possible final four, eh? Assuming the fifth is Kara? Well, this way Kara and Anders can have all this amazing cylon sex with glowy backs, right? Probably even COMMANDED BY GOD.

THEY ARE FLEXIBLE. There was totally against-the-wall, bent-over-a-table, up-against-her-viper sex. A lot. Sam knows she's not a cylon. Or, maybe he knows she is, but he finds it really kinda hot.

Well, technically, it's the comicbook canon that says so (and he wasn't a full cylon, he was just a dead body they stole before he died and played with to make a new human-clone. OH, you wacky Cylon hybrids). But it still fits!

I've been figuring Sam as a Cylon for a while, with Kara being "special" and all. But the spoiler that gets me is that he and Tory have an affair. I was not amused. Somehow he goes from not believing Kara is dead to sleeping with Tory? WTF??

The Tory thing doesn't bug me. People do stupid shit when they're grieving--even if he refuses to believe she's dead. It will piss me off if we don't get any sort of setup, though (which, given the lack of setup this entire season...)

I am in denial. Kara can be dead, I don't care. But Sam is not a Cylon.

Although, MRV does bring up the good point that we can have multiple partners with multiple glowy bits...

The part I like quite a bit? Even in the spoiler (and I do think it's true), Anders and Co only THINK they're cylons. That don't make it so. And as reneedy (I think) pointed out, it's awfully suspicious that it's the three leaders of the NC resistance plus someone else with strong ties to them. Perhaps they were tampered with and don't remember. I actually believe less that Sam is a cylon now than I did before the 'reveal'. Although maybe I'm just overthinking all this...

We're supposed to get some Sam/Tory action according to the spoiler, so maybe we'll get some more Trucco half nakedness yet.... *crosses fingers*
