Warren Ellis and Jeph Loeb were AWESOME in 1995
I have proof!
See, I was going through old magazines, and came across old interviews with them. At the time, Loeb was just taking over Cable, and Ellis had Excalibur.
Scans, because I'm that geeky, and PLEASE NOTE what Ellis says about Meggan, because that is so fucking awesome and cool. (
familyarchives,
angualupin,
nique, and
vickyocean, you want to notice what Loeb thinks the core of the book is....)

I got all excited about this, to the point of jumping up and down in glee, when I realized these were scans from twelve years ago.
And then I thought, who the fuck cares? Nate and Dom are meant for each other, man. If they don't kill each other first.

And yes, it is amusing that a male (comic book!) writer says the point of (one of the most violent!) books was two characters being fated to be together.
