woodface's prompts. (Vala and Cameron playing basketball)
Is short, and has no title.
"No, like this."
"Like this?" Vala banked a shot and missed by a mile.
"No!" Throwing up his hands, Cameron went after the ball, missing the amused glance Vala was sending after him. And the lascivious look when he bent over.
"Really, this is a very stupid game."
"It's not stupid." Dribbling the ball, Cameron turned and lofted what should have been a perfect shot at the basket.
Except that Vala was there, and Vala jumped, hand catching the ball and knocking it away.
"Like that?" She asked, looking rather cheekily at him.
"Yeah." Glaring, but unwilling to give up, he went after the ball again and when he straightened she was right in front of him.
"I have to stop you from getting it to the basket."
"Yup."
"Could be fun." She licked her lips and leaned forward, giving him an excellent view down the tank top that Sam swore was regulation, though Cameron had his doubts (General O'Neill apparently had, too, as the Colonel was barred from wearing the tank top ever again).
Finding it suddenly just a little warmer in the makeshift court, Cameron swallowed and bounced the ball once before feinting to the right.
Vala followed the movement, but her quick reflexes yanked her back when he would have gone around to the other side, and she brushed against him. Startled, Cameron actually lost control of the ball.
It was all Vala needed to grab for it, turn and shoot.
This time, the ball dropped neatly through the basket. "I win!"
"You do, huh?" Cameron was unable to resist stepping closer to her. Another inch and he'd feel her breathing.
"Always." Turning, Vala smirked to find him right there. "Something you want?"
"Well, now... You and Jackson..."
"My Daniel and I are very committed. But he seems to be committed to avoiding me, whereas I, well..." She blew out a breath and moved that last inch. "I should just be committed."
Really, she shouldn't have said it so brightly, Cameron decided. Besides, he wouldn't mind being committed, too. As long as he got to continue kissing Vala.
"I still won," Vala informed him.
"Yup." Looping his arm around her waist, Cameron pulled her closer, intent on distracting her entirely from the game.
"I dribble better, too."
Catching her hand, he threaded their fingers together, and continued kissing.
Vala tried to say something else, but Cameron's hand slid under her tanktop just a little, which seemed to shut her up nicely.
For ten seconds.
"You know we should get a room."
