Here's a novel idea: you don't have to buy the book, read it, or otherwise expose yourself to it. I realize this is a pretty radical proposal but you might want to give it a try nonetheless as I think it would solve your problem.

Kind of like I don't read Ultimate X-Men. If I read it I could bitch about it to infinity, but why bother? I just stay away from it, and there is no stress whatsoever. And those who enjoy it can do so, while I'm off somewhere enjoying what I like.
