OMGWTF

Dear Marvel. Please don't make Jeph Loeb have to write ONSLUT REBORN with LIEFELD DOING ART. SERIOUSLY. HAVE YOU PEOPLE GONE BATSHIT INSANE???

Wait. You're the people who think Emma/Scott is a GOOD IDEA. What the fuck am I even being shocked for?

*cries*

And here, people, is the original crossover THAT MADE ME STOP BUYING COMICS.

It's been TEN FUCKING YEARS and the pain is still inherent.

eta: Apparently, Jeph Loeb and Rob Liefeld are bosom buddies or some shit like that. Jesus fucking christ, I hate Liefeld. And Heroes Reborn.

"Make" Jeph Loeb "have to" write it? He loves teaming up with Liefeld. Who did you think wrote those six issues of Captain America Rob drew?

I would get angry, but... By this point, I'm just kind of numb. Marvel has been repeatedly raping their continuity up the ass with a chain saw for so long that I can't even care any more.

*goes back to her own happy continuity where X-Force never broke up and Sean and Moira got married instead of getting killed*

Oh fuck. No. No, I say!

On a more positive note, that is the best icon of a Liefeld-drawn Cable I've ever seen.

Dude. I gave up reading the article halfway through, but I'm gonna edit my post, as, obviously, they didn't make him. Also? I had no idea I had so much rage left over from the craptastic days of HR.

You know, I'd have to agree with that, because between L & L, neither the plot nor the art will make sense.

I suppose it would really be too much to hope both writer and artist would break slit their wrists, wouldn't it?

*RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE*

Dear Jeph Loeb,

I used to love you. Then I find you like Liefeld.

Here's a novel idea: you don't have to buy the book, read it, or otherwise expose yourself to it. I realize this is a pretty radical proposal but you might want to give it a try nonetheless as I think it would solve your problem.

Kind of like I don't read Ultimate X-Men. If I read it I could bitch about it to infinity, but why bother? I just stay away from it, and there is no stress whatsoever. And those who enjoy it can do so, while I'm off somewhere enjoying what I like.

Why is this such a difficult concept?
