I got tagged ages back for the 7 things that piss you off/7 things that make you go mmm... thingie (I think that's what they were called)

7 things that piss me off.

1. People who continue to watch a show despite disliking it, and insist on telling us how much they hated it. Please. It's a TV show. You have a power button. Turn it the fuck OFF.

2. Squee about pairings I dislike. Sorry, I'm petty and obnoxious, but I really do not want to read about your obsession with McKay/Shep, Kara/Lee, or Daniel/Cameron. Especially when it's all you can talk about.

3. People who cut me off and then slow down. Seriously. You all need to die in firey crashes NOW.

4. People telling me the economy is stable.

5. Obnoxious Canon Mary Sues. Adric. Wesley. River. Byron. (sadly, River and Wesley are still alive)

6. Everyone going on about how much they miss Jack on SG-1. Although, it has died down a bit since I left the stupid Sam/Jack list.

7. Women who will write huge, character-driven backstory for the two-dimensional male characters, but then claim the women are boring. So are the men, but you'll play with their dicks often enough.


7 things that make me go Mmmm...

1. Sam/Kara, John/Aeryn... And, see, lots of pairings. But listing them is pointless.

2. Red Skittles.

3. Science fiction shows.

4. Lindt/Lindour white chocolate truffles.

5. Snark.

6. Red Cap, NCIS, Bones, Touching Evil UK, Second Sight, Midsommer Murders, House, St. Elsewhere.

7. Delaney's Irish Cream.

1. I'm living in hope that the good writing on 'Lantis will come back. Someday! Also it is sandwiched between SG1 (which did improve, thank the GODS, after the bloody Orii were dealt with) and BSG, and I am too lazy to change the channel.

4. AHAHAHAHAHAA. These are words uttered by the same people who are getting those tax cuts we'll never see.

It must be hard to avoid the McShep squee. The pairing is the winner of the 'I can't go grab a beer without slamming into it' award. I didn't know Daniel/Cameron was popular, though.

Oh it is, sometimes. It's also really freaky for me to notice, because in the beginning, Lantis was either Sheppard/Weir or Sheppard/Teyla. And then just when we stopped really writing, BOOM, suddenly, we're a literati slash fandom.

#7 may have to be put on an icon, in some fashion. Hrm.
