note to self

stop looking at ff'net. The extremely shitty fics with 200+ reviews only depress you.

kthnx.

ps. Go look at Kara caps.

OMG! We must totally praise the effort of everyone who tries, and encourage them lots. The better writers don't need encouragement.

*or something like that*

Sounds like general fandom logic to me!

Wonder if that's why there are so many raving Daniel fan girls...?

I no longer get the same thrill from ff.net feedback that I used to. Too much of it is just "I lurve you if you get them together," and "You've destroyed my world" if you don't, plus the old favourite "Please write a sequel, please!" when you've stated that you've finished.

*is cranky, oh yes*

Oh my god, I hate the people who ask for sequels! Dammit! People like that are the reason that Batman and Robin and the current crop of Star Wars movies exist!

Someday, I am gonna write a fic wherein there are massive explosions, everyone dies, there is no possibilty of resurrecting ANYONE or ANYTHING and someone is still gonna say, "OMG! You should write a sequel!"

And then I'm just gonna have to go get an Uzi and go on my tri-state killing spree. Because my last faith in humanity...gone.

...you know.

I did that.

And people asked for sequels.

And I'm half-asedly writing one.

*laughes* TBF, no one's ever asked me to write a prequel. Hrm.

Yes! Kill off the planet Earth: it'll be fun!
