Actually, I've tried that. Have a dummy account that does pretty cliche fic, with "pls review!" tacked on...

Also, is English your native language? Do you spell things correctly and use proper grammar? If yes, then this may be your problem. Seriously, that, and you may need to use l33t sp33k in your fics, that could help too.
