I don't know. But I loathe it. And it makes me write fic where there are no babies.

It's an even more sore subject than usual due to a recent, extremely traumatic encounter with Sheppard/Weir babyfic. (No apparent contraception — Lizzie would never be that stupid! — unwanted pregnancy, abortion sought. Then it got frighteningly religious and I skipped to the end to see whether she had magically turned into a Stepford mother-to-be. Yep.) Babies don't belong on Atlantis any more than they do on the Galactica.

Oh, oh, one of these days I *will* finish the "Sheppard gets gifted with some alien chick's baby because he almost sexed her, and of course the baby isn't his" fic. Hrm.
