...wow...

Note to self: either you have serious issues, or the Battlestar mini commentary sounds really fucking pretentious.

Seriously. I know the Farscape guys did a lot of, "Aren't we cool?" type dialogue, but, but... They did it in a cute, "We are SUCH GEEKS" way. Whereas, I feel like I'm being talked down to, listening to this commentary (I didn't make it past the first set of credits...).

*paraphrases* "And so, we're the only space show to be realistic." (actually, they used much more high-falutin' dialogue. I think I needed a dictionary).

Yeah. While you've got your nose in the air, could you tell me if it's raining acid? Kthnx.

Erm, in other news, I need to go kick dinner.

I tried to watch the Farscape premier commentary, but, again, I gave up pretty quickly. It's just...boring.

I wish people would realize that commentaries are supposed to be fun. It's nice to hear a little bit about how things were done, but I like to hear funny behind the scenes stories and stuff. Ron Moore's podcast for the last episode was a little closer to that, so maybe they'll get better for series commentary. I'm also hoping that maybe we'll get some actor commentary at some point, since I suspect that could be really fun. *crosses fingers*

*nods* Well, yeah. They basically repeated a bunch of the interviews they'd done as prep for the show. Which, after hearing them for the seventh time is... boring.

Later commentaries get better... (and anything with Ben and Claudia is comedy gold)

I crave actor commentaries. I'm sad. I'll even listen to the Doctor Who ones that are basically, "We don't remember shit, so we're making stuff up."
