Some idiot has been taking NCIS fic and copy/replacing it with Sam/Jack (I knew there was a reason the "does this look like a romance?" line sounded like Gibbs and not Jack. Damn). It's kind of amusing, really...

Of course, now I want to do the same thing and see if I can write, oh, Scott/Jean from the Sam/Jack I've got... Hrm. Could work.

Actually, this may have been dealt with, so far. But...

Anyone who might have a crossover interest in NCIS (especially Kate/Gibbs), please feel free to troll through this authors' work and let ff'net know which ones are plagiarism.

In a twisted way, it could be also construed as a compliment. Sad and pathetic, yes, but at least the person enjoyed the piece so much that they wished they had written it. So, they lied to themselves and told themselves that they had.
