dreams and reality collide.

that was... Really amusing.

OK. So, you know how sometimes your brain will splice together two shows for you to watch together?

Well, in my dream, I was with a group of people, and the two shows spliced together were (oddly enough) SG-1, and Forever Knight. No, I have no IDEA why this worked. Anyway. There's the whole dramatic first meeting of the True Loves. In the originals, Nick sees Natalie (I'm assuming they do a flashback? This is disturbing as I've seen all of TWO EPISODES of this show), and Jack sees Sam.

There's the dramatic music, the fanfares, blahloveatfirstsiteblah.

The dream remixes it a little.

Music begins, at the crescendo, Nick see Sam, and Jack sees Natalie.

And the moment is trapped in time and slow motion.

And my alarm begins ringing.

Yes, people, even my alarm is orchestrating my dreams.

But Sam would have no patience for Nick and his moods. *giggle*

Oh, you are so not wrong. But it would be awfully entertaining...

Oh, God, and then when Sam met LaCroix? And Janette? But especially LaCroix. I would pay serious amounts of money for tickets to that show!

Though I could actually see her kicking back with Tracy and Vachon to have a beer.

For as long as it lasted. Unfortunately, she's not much for the game-playing, and he'd figure that out pretty quickly and probably just kill her. Unless there were some convincing (i.e., to his benefit) reason not to.

I'm making the assumption that she'd be able to survive the encounter somehow. Just not sure precisely how, and I don't know if I want to because that way lies Another Crossover I Shouldn't Do.

I hear ya. I'm forcibly not letting my brain resurrect the pondering I was doing a few years ago, regarding the nature of Divia's sarcophagus.

*snerk* Yeah, that way lies a dreadfully long crossover, I'd imagine.

Considering how long it was just as a random "Hmmmm..." post on FORKNI-L, I'm thinkin' yeah.

It all made perfect sense, too, with the sarcophagus being viewed as a possible cure for Nick, and causing other problems instead.

It certainly could have been a large part of the cause of Divia's total frelling nuttiness psychosis. Because you just know that in that universe, Goa'uld could have created vampires, whether accidentally or on purpose.

But then again, we've been down that road before. ;)

That didn't even figure into it, and the post was still enormous. *wry g*

So, any chance you have that saved around somewhere?

I know I saved it for a while, but I don't know if I kept it. I'll look later.
