dreams and reality collide.
that was... Really amusing.
OK. So, you know how sometimes your brain will splice together two shows for you to watch together?
Well, in my dream, I was with a group of people, and the two shows spliced together were (oddly enough) SG-1, and Forever Knight. No, I have no IDEA why this worked. Anyway. There's the whole dramatic first meeting of the True Loves. In the originals, Nick sees Natalie (I'm assuming they do a flashback? This is disturbing as I've seen all of TWO EPISODES of this show), and Jack sees Sam.
There's the dramatic music, the fanfares, blahloveatfirstsiteblah.
The dream remixes it a little.
Music begins, at the crescendo, Nick see Sam, and Jack sees Natalie.
And the moment is trapped in time and slow motion.
And my alarm begins ringing.
Yes, people, even my alarm is orchestrating my dreams.

*chuckle* Yes, it was a flashback. But technically she saw him first, since he was sorta mostly dead at the time.
Your alarm must die. I wanna know what happened. (Although Nick seeing Sam would most likely result in his confusing her with a cute bouncy neurologist chick with whom Nat geeked out and confused the hell out of the guys once. Yay, Twelve Canadian Actors! *g*)

Oh, God, yes. Aren't those some of the oddest dreams?

They do indeed do a flashback, but it's not really a romantic one. First season episode, "Only the Lonely." I'm a very, very big NatPacker here. :) Love Nat. She's so cool. Let me know if you want me to spoil you on the big moment.

*splorfle* Oh, jeez! That's kind of funny. And I just can't see Nick and Sam together. I could see Jack and Natalie. But Sam would have no patience for Nick and his moods. *giggle*

Oh, you are so not wrong. But it would be awfully entertaining...

Though I could actually see her kicking back with Tracy and Vachon to have a beer.

For as long as it lasted. Unfortunately, she's not much for the game-playing, and he'd figure that out pretty quickly and probably just kill her. Unless there were some convincing (i.e., to his benefit) reason not to.

It all made perfect sense, too, with the sarcophagus being viewed as a possible cure for Nick, and causing other problems instead.

total frelling nuttinesspsychosis. Because you just know that in that universe, Goa'uld could have created vampires, whether accidentally or on purpose. But then again, we've been down that road before. ;)

That didn't even figure into it, and the post was still enormous. *wry g*

I miss that show.

*chuckle* And it was a bit more comic. But both are fun.

Considering that there were at least 30 posted to FKFIC-L inside of two weeks, the phrase "needle in a haystack" comes to mind. ;-)
It involved Nick being outnumbered, surrounded, and finally getting a little sense beaten into his angsty head. *g*
I like the sound of that.
