Eureka 4x20

Spoilers for the season finale.

ASDKFGDFGAFKLJADFGKLJSDFK!

Words. I do not have them. I just. Ok, so, I was enjoying the whole Jo leaving thing (because she is totally right and I love that I called "Jo is saying goodbye, Zane" earlier on, not to mention her talk with Jack while tramping around for rods, AND I LOVE that she is adjusting and changing. <3), anyway, I was enjoying it, and I'm all "this will be a nice ending for season, Titan will be explored next year" etc.

and then.

AND THEN.

idek.

BOOM. VWORP. The mission is stolen! Was it Beverly? Was it Parrish? Was it both of them in collusion? I don't know! I don't know what Beverly would gain from hijacking Astreus, given the science they'd perform Out There would be more important!

omg Erica Cerra's faaaaaaace. HOW CAN ANYONE MAKE HER SAD? (I am distracting myself)

AUGH. I need to, like, go watch something fluffy and down some sugar or something adfdnfgadflnad!!!!!!!

Jo, I figured she was going to go do a "walkabout" after talk w/ Taggert in the last ep. Her talk with Jack in the woods was further proof that she was thinking about leaving. Oh, she was absolutely beautiful in that final scene with him - talking about how Jack had grown since he'd come to Eureka and how he'd made it his home.

I know she'll be back, because Eureka is her home, but man, that scene just totally rocked.

I figured something would go wrong with the launch - it's Eureka, after all. I just didn't figure on Allison getting caught up in it. I gotta wonder if it's Beverly and her little band of merry makers. We had like no hint of them since the huge showdown where Jo & Zoe proved that they could save Eureka with the boys.

Man, only like 14 eps to go to wrap this all up - wonder if the x-mas ep will tie into it or be a standalone like last year was?

Damn you, syfy... you have proven once again that you're run by idjets! :(

Actually, Syfy renewed Eureka. It was Comcast, their parent company, which canceled it (according to Colin Ferguson, and one would assume he's more in the know of the behind the scenes stuff than we are)
