*surfaces from watching Chase*
It's a bit In Plain Sight meets Saving Grace meets Fringe, but with the dry "case" feel of Criminal Intent. Though, uh, not as much of the icky side. I'm pleasantly surprised (five episodes in) by the lack of "to show how evil people are: rape happens (but only to women, of course)!"
Shockingly, the show passes both Bechdel, and the other test (where two COC have a conversation every episode).
I love the fact the show basically says "Annie may be tiny, but she is our hero, now stfu and let her save the day"
And I may ship Annie/Daisy in that back-of-the-bar-random-sex way.and Annie/Ben, hey, there were handcuffs involved!

You are going to love the latest episode :)
I love the show, Annie, Daisy and the whole team interactions. I watch Chuck because it finally got funny agai, I watch The Event for the aliens but it's Chase that makes my Mondays :) It feels me with sadness that it's almost for sure canceled but this year it's the fate of everything I even semi-like :(

I think my only problem with the series is the focus on the Bad Guys. I sort of... don't care about them much. But I'll put up with them for the rest.

I know what you mean. I usually don't watch cop and medical dramas because it's mostly all about the case of the week. I think in my case it is because I'm used to genre shows with over all plot and mythology. Chase is very much an episodic cop drama so we only get glimpses of character's lives and way not enough team interactions and background. But what we get is awesome so I keep watching.

My only complaint is that I don't care much about most of the fugitives they chase (though there have been exceptions)
