More tv catch-up: Nikita, Eureka 3.5, Covert Affairs
Covert Affairs. I don't have much to say about it. I enjoy it while it's on, but it's not a very deep show. I'm still a huge Annie and Joan fan, though. And Auggie and Arthur are growing on me. And Jai is hot. So is Liza. Big Reveal was not so big. I do sort of think it's hilarious that Annie's Love changed Ben's life 4ever.
Nikita. Also not one I have much to say about, aside from the whole "Alex isn't subtle, how haven't they caught her yet?" aspect. I can handle all the rest, but that keeps straining my credulity. Also, Percy and Jai's daddy from CA are like the same person and need to diaf. ugh. I have thoughts on Alex's family/Nikita's reason for stalking her--but also, Michael is vaguely growing on me. I still find him sort of uninteresting, but he's not blah as much? (also, Andre McBride from Painkiller Jane as an enforcer. What a come-down, Andre. Being Percy's top killer)
Eureka. I would appreciate it if Jo got a storyline that wasn't about her love-life. :/
Going in, I wasn't really happy about Carter (3.0 made me dislike him intensely?), but I don't know if it was distance or what, but I liked him ok. Fargo, otoh, seriously. HOW IS SOMEONE THAT FUCKING INCOMPETENT STILL IN EUREKA? I don't find it cute that he causes all sorts of trouble, or funny, or interesting. I just find it Yet Another Thing To Be Annoyed By.
The bowling team episode was extra O.o as Riley from Painkiller Jane shaved his head and moved to Aera 51 to lead their bowling team. AHAHAHAH. So hilarious. (somewhere, Andre is all *facepalm*)
I wasn't sure what I'd think of Tess. I mean, yes, JRN. But... Ok, no, unsurprisingly, I think she's awesome. I find her hilarious and self-assured and a friend of Allison's (yay), and sometimes she's out of her depth, but she tries to roll with the punches. So to speak. Also, I bet they use lots of strategic boxes for her to stand on.
Zoe and Jo and Al remain awesome. Zoe's boyfriend is uninteresting. And Allison's kid has apparently disappeared off the face of the planet.
And then there's Henry. Mr. Break My Heart Into Tiny Pieces. *shakes fist at Joe Morton and Tamlyn Tomita* (I ship it, yo, and OH THE PAIN). Oh, Henry, you keep getting the short end of that stick. I'm so sorry.
