*giggles like a small child*

Diana Gabaldon has deleted her wanky fanfic posts. This is sad, as I was sort of enjoying reading along.

I still don't know who she is! Except that apparently she doesn't like fanfic very much?

Her books make excellent door-stoppers.

I'm afraid I can't compare to the source material as I havent seen classic who but Jamie Fraser, the male hero/lead is named after that dude and the guy who played him. But the actor isn't a 6'3 redheaded Highlander so it doesn't count! Trufax.

Jamie Fraser is based shamelessly off of Jamie McCrimmon, played by Frazer Hines, who was an 18th-century Highlander. Who travelled in time with the Doctor. Only, you know, her version doesn't include a Time Lord or something, idek.

*eyeroll*

Why yes, I certainly can see the . . . "inspiration". Nah, Claire's no timelord. She's just from the future and tries to stop the Jacobites and the massacre at Culloden.

Sadly, the books are eating my brain so I will be going through all...6 I think.

I must admit I have been reading her books for three days.

They are very long.
