is it wrong of me to feel upset when my family gathers to celebrate my birthday, and we spend nearly the whole time either watching my brother and sister-in-law playing some fucking video game or a fucking football game?
I'd hope not, considering this was my one moment to feel all selfish.
Yeah, it was so wrong to inconvenience *their* lives. I could have spent today editing fic, but, no, everyone was going to celebrate MY birthday. Right.
Because, y'know, I love video games and football.

And when I mention that it's a little hurtful? Oh, I'm being overly dramatic and a bitch.
Yeah. I should have stayed home.
