...there are crazy people in Milwaukee

I thought it was kind of weird when chairs were appearing on Friday for the parade.

But tonight?

Tonight, there are people camping in downtown Milwaukee to ensure they have good seats. For a parade.

There is a MAN SLEEPING ON HIS OWN COUCH AND WATCHING HIS TV.

So he can see. A. Parade.

wtf. wtffff.

What kind of parade? Will there be famous people at this parade? Otherwise, I'm not seeing the drawing point.

It's a circus parade. I think. I don't know! It's a parade. They are not that special!

The only parades I've been to are the ones at Disneyland, which I enjoyed at the time. I can't imagine lining up for any other parade, as parades generally don't interest me. But to each their own. It's free entertainment, I suppose, but camping out overnight is a tad excessive.

It's pretty damn grand. The whole thing lasts 2 hours minimum, with all the old hand painted circus wagons, etcetc. It's one hell of a spectacle. My grandparents used to take us every year.

I can see how that might be fun, especially for families. Though camping out overnight to get good seats seems a little crazy to me.

I think it's fun, because it IS just a little bit crazy. I don't know. I've known people who've done it since I was wee, so I'm hardly the best judge.
