Man.

1. Finding an Uhura action figure is like finding a needle in a haystack, and the needle was probably never shipped because boys won't play with girl toys. Or something. Yeah, you keep believing that while you get your rocks off playing with boy-shaped dolls.

2. This means online ordering. And getting both sizes. Wee!Uhura can hang out with Liz Swann and Martha Jones while big!Uhura drinks tea with Liz Weir and scares Shep into hiding. why didn't they make a Laura Cadman? And Dee, Kendra, Teyla and Kara can be their military muscle.

3. Fandom has ruined me. There was a cute man with his shirt off doing yardwork and while I appreciated that, I would have appreciated it more if the cute guy walking his wee!doggie would have dipsmooched him.

Oh, I'm sure the figures shipped. But female figures tend to not be shipped in the same numbers, and are thus rare, and the people who stock the shelves and get first pick will tend to grab them and sell them elsewhere for huge profit.

Toys'r'us online doesn't list the 6" Uhura, so no it didn't ship.

Ah, well, I'm afraid Foe is right on this one. I caught the toys the first week they were out at Walmart and there were a whole pile of both big and small Uhuras. About the same number as Kirk, actually. A week later the big ones were all gone and the little ones were mostly gone.

As close as I'll get to an Uhura doll is my icon!
