5. You all. You all know how much I loathe, detest, and HATE Romo Lampkin. Like. I find him a Mary Sue of the worst calibre and have since he first appeared. And I love and adore Mark Sheppard. BUT OMG. I NEVER KNEW I could love Romo. But he was all "Bitch,plz" at Zarek and Gaeta and Dad!!! <3 AND THEN AND THEN IN THE CORRIDOR AND. <3

Kara Thrace is mostly known for big fucking gestures, like rescuing their asses from Caprica, marrying them and getting matching tattoos. Also, hugging.

KARA THRACE TOLD EVERYONE TO LEAVE HER BEHIND WITH SAM AND THEN DRAGGED HIM TO COTTLE. Sure, Romo helped. But Kara did it, because Kara doesn't want him dead.

5. I'm still scared that I was liking him even before he helped save my boy. Because I have hated him since he appeared and when I heared he was going to be back, I was so so whiny and "omg, WHyyyyyyyyyyyyy" about it (and like I said, I LOVE Mark Sheppard, and think he's awesome). OMG. BUT NOW.

OMG. Me too. I was worried for days about this episode. I thought they were gonna kill Tigh.

I was on edge for the last 30 minutes of this episode. My heart still hasn't stopped pounding. The resolution was a bit quick, but that's okay. Because Kara AND Sam AND Hera AND Athena AND Mom AND Dad AND Tyrol AND I guess Lee FTW!

I really wanted Romo to be the last cylon... ;-) (before I wanted it to be Zac)

I repeat: Race Track is too hot to be a traitor. Alas.

And on the second viewing, there was little stuff in the background that I missed the first time around. Like as they step around the bodies of the Marines, Caprica covers Hera's eyes with her free hand. She's such a good auntie.

Although the more I see of Rambo!Athena letting Caprica help out with the fam, the more frustrated I get that we lost Natalie, essentially for nothing. Athena, honey, you couldn't have discovered this newfound spirit of cooperation a few episodes earlier? I still miss Natalie, especially as her death seems so pointless now. She was so good at mutiny-ing herself that she would've totally kicked ass at putting down someone else's (obviously inferior) mutiny.

And notice how none of the hits Galactica has taken from the outside are what's finally damaged the ship. It's not enemy action, it's sheer wear and tear, like a person getting old. Structural strains have it ripping itself apart from the inside. It's all METAPHORICAL. And no, I didn't get t he metaphor on the first viewing. I'm a little slow that way.

Loved seeing Caprica (carrying Hera, aww), the basestar, and honey blonde Six. However, much as I love Gaius/Six, I have to wonder about the whole point behind their meeting and climbing into bed. Was it just so Gaius could realise he needed to return to his following? Or are we going to see more human-Cylon babies?

Well, there really wasn't enough, given he was in previews and everything and and. *kicks something* I could have done with less of Zarek, Gaeta and Adama, and more with Leoben and SAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam

Caprica, Athena and Roslin were all awesome.

So were Adama, Tight and Romo. I always liked Romo because I have this thing for opportunistic, cynical liars and like Mark Sheppard but I thought they shouldn't have brought his character back after Baltar's trial. At least till now. Especially with pen stabbing.

And Lee was good too, even if he freaked out like a kid when he didn't found his dad in the cell. But he made up for this going for the rescue with two cylons even though he hates them all. That's the difference between him and Gaeta - ability ignore his issues for the good of the whole.

As Adama said cylons gave him aid and comfort.

I liked seeing all the cylon women - from the Eight raptor pilot to Tory (OK cylon men too - Twos got more awesome since they stopped being all about Kara and mystic babbling).

Tyrol proving once again he knows Galactica best and saving the day and probably Galactica

And last but not least. For Kara Sam > everything. She decided to help him instead of rescuing admiral and regaining the ship. She told the rest to go and save the world because she understands the duty but she stayed to save her husband because there was no other way she could’ve acted. I agree that Kara was always more about actions then words and he was her screaming I LOVE YOU all the way to Cottle.

See, my problem with Romo was he was so very much the "we need this smug dude who Knows Everything" Mary Sue, and I hate hate HATE that kind of character, so he always made me annoyed and want to throw things (OMG HIS SCENE WITH ADAMA IN SINE QUA NON. ARGH).

But, maybe it's because I hate Adama, Zarek and Gaeta equally now, but I really LIKED his snarky comments and things he was saying in the episode (even when he spoiled Chief being alive and free, omg, heheheh)

I wanted more scenes on the basestar, but I get they were cut for time. Sigh.

I agree that Kara was always more about actions then words and he was her screaming I LOVE YOU all the way to Cottle.

And this is why Sam never ever demands she say it to his face. Because he knows her, and he knows that expecting that from her is pointless. Because she does things like, y'know, saving his ass from Caprica or hauling him around when he's dying (gods).
