damn, I still got it.

5-10 seconds max, and I can tell you what episode of Star Trek: the Next Generation we're watching.

And, y'know, I don't think I've seen Gambit part one since it originally aired.

I do that with M*A*S*H. Once I turned on an episode in the middle just to see which one it was, and turned it back off after two and a fraction words.

I can... sort of do it with MASH. Not as well, though.

It helps to once have had audiotapes of the original broadcasts of most of the first six seasons...

I can do that with M*A*S*H past about season three. The earlier ones I still mix up. And TNG I can almost every time. I'm good with a bunch of shows, really. It really creeps my mom out when we watch TV together, something comes on for ten seconds, and I can tell her the whole episode.

It's all new to me!

Sure. Gives me something to watch.

Is that the episode with the planet of the Louisianan sleazebags?

They got Chris Claremont on board as an accent coach!

[livejournal.com profile] st_aurafina and I are the same! Except it always goes like this:

Me: Oh, that's the one with the awesome [techno-thing/plot/battle/Picard moment]
Her: But it's got that awful and embarrassing [thing with Dr Crusher/Troi-rape/moral lesson/Data-humanising]
Me: Okay, let's watch something else.

Alternatively:

Me: Oh, that's the one with that awful and embarrassing [thing with Dr Crusher/Troi-rape/moral lesson/Data-humanising]
Her: But it's got that the awesome [techno-thing/plot/battle/Picard moment]
Me: Okay, let's watch it!

Holy boners, what is it with you Trekkies and doing that?! Stephen can do that and it freaks me right the hell out!

I'll be flipping channels (and I truly flip like a guy, so nothing stays on longer than ten seconds at the most) and he's always right there...

"Oh, that's the one where Picard sneezes and then Worf has to duel the Vulcan ambassador for cookies!" It's weird! What's wrong with you people?!?!
