I did not mention it here, but Sam was slotted in as Aragorn for a long time (until I gave into the inevitable). For the record, cujoy pointed out that it makes Tory Rosie Cotton...

Please write this fic, since I probably won't. ;)

You can rearrange stuff to make Kara Boromir, but that makes Kat Faramir, since Kara has no siblings. And, really, Kara as Frodo and Roslin as Gandalf are the linchpins, here.

I'm not sure who I'd put as Aragorn. Lee is definitely Faramir. For a while there Kara was the favored son of Adama, (with Lee as her pseudo-brother, "I was never what you wanted like Kara or Zak!" but then they switched, then switched again after she died, then again when she came back, and now I guess they're equalish?) Maybe Helo - I can see Athena as Eowyn. (Not that I don't love your system, I'm jutst having too much fun here!) Then I'd make Jean Legolas and Cally Rosie Cotton. ;)

In my scheme Tory is more Saruman, Baltar is Theoden before Gandalf showed up. Of course, I have a feeling the show is going to make him Aragorn. ;)
