your future died in the past.

1. I missed the memo that said I'm supposed to find Zoeey Deschanel a horrible actress, apparently.

2. Where is the Aeon Flux femslash? The movie is chock full of hot women kicking ass. All I've been able to find is two incest pieces. Which, ew. though if I did incest, I'd totally be shipping adult Azka/DG But no Sithandra/Aeon, no Aeon/Freya, no Freya/Inari (they were totally doing it, man), no Handler/anyone... Sigh. Fandom, you totally fail me.

3. Note to self: icons.

y'know, I get frustrated with that whole "OMG So-and-so is so awful", when more than half the time I KNOW it's a deliberate choice and meant to work with the character and the story. It's come up a lot with Stephanie Jacobsen and Kendra- and whether the choice works for you (the viewer in general) or not is one thing, but don't call her a horrible actress for doing her job, which is choosing to represent her character a particular way. Not every character on television SHOULD be the same, yet when we get characters who are quiet, it's always read as the actor's fault.

But I've been fighting this battle since Babylon 5 Season One, so. *sigh* (I grant there was too much theater and not enough t.v. in Michael O'Hare's resume, but he didn't deserve the roasting he got.)

*nods* Stephanie C-J was utterly brilliant as Kendra, and I'm honestly SAD we won't get to see more of her, because she was another person who could meet Kara on her own terms and keep her ground.

Oh, Michael was awesome. Damn stupid people. *kicks them*
