Things....

Y'know, I was watching Buffy--"Surprise&Innocence"--this morning. And I have to ask: How come Angel awakens, gasps in pain, lurches around the room and gets dressed lurches outside and into the rain.... All while gasping and moaning and shit. And, yet, Buffy never wakes up.

Honey, I don't care HOW good a fuck that was, *I* would be awake at the sound of my lover whimpering in torment.

Second. Um. If you're sucking at the jugular, how likely are you to hit the windpipe? And, in doing so, how possible is it to breath in that lungful coming back up in a convulsive scream, yet NOT breathe in blood?

Hrm. Can vampires choke if they breathe the wrong way?

In other news, I am going to Drea's. Chicago, baby!

And Drea!

Hrm. And I won't get to see the newspaper guy for two days. Sigh.

I could almost stay on nights, just for the fun of seeing him every morning.... Almost as good as waking ... Nah. Can't do it. That's just way too corny. Even for me.

So. I should sleep. Would be good.

Oh. And for people's amusement....

...or why it was raining heavily at the end of Surprise but it didn't at the beginning of Innocence. Or why Buffy's nailpolish changes its colour, IIRC. And the timing thing of the episode if frelled up, too. And don't get me started on the Blue Evil-Smurf thing, and what sense that makes, since Spike was all anti-Armageddon in Becoming.

Maybe Buffy's a *really* heavy sleeper.

Maybe Angelus has some special Evil!ability to extract the nicotine from a person's blood. *g*

Babe, don't expect logic in the Pretty, a.k.a. Joss screws up a lot.

Hee, vampire choking on blood...
