Not to mention, all of the Pegasus sets have been struck. So, tell me, Skiffy, what's more expensive: a fifth season of Farscape or a pointless straight to dvd movie for BSG that no one's going to buy?)

I have great love for Ensign Ro. Which made me love the Evil Admiral Ro. And I loved the Pegasus because OMG I LOVE OLD-SKOOL BSG, but really, a movie? UNnecessary, unless they're going to give me Sheba walking around being a snotty brat, because that might be worth it.

I, just... You know, there are few characters I hate, and she's one of them. She makes me turn off the tv and/or fast-forward through her scenes (also, I like how they created the Pegasus, this awful awful ship and -- nothing ever comes of it. Ever).

As for oldskool. I, ah, find it as bad as Voltron: painfully sexist and boring.

(and the cartoon Voltron? Painfully painfully bad--like, actually, that was an insult to Oldskool BSG, because even IT wasn't that bad--but the comic they did recently was better. They nailed down a good angle on the characters and. And. Allura kind of just pwns everyone. 's awesome. AND NO scary platitudes and Good Message crap)

She and Geordi should totally snark at each other a lot. I love Next Phase so hard. And she and Riker should also bitch at each other a whole bunch, because I loved that like crazy. I have sekrit Riker/Ro love. Don't hurt me.

You know? I never did one of those "five things" fics, but I might need to do "five people" for both Ro and Talia Winters of B5. HRM.

I kind of liked that episode and her angsting and loyalty-divided and all, but I wish she would have stayed with the Enterprise. :( Even though there were only two episodes left. WAH!

The Maquis stuff was totally there just to set up Voyager... but it was totally coolest in DS9. I love that Eddington defected and Sisko freaked out. And SISKO SENT HIS GIRLFRIEND TO JAIL. And then they all DIED HORRIBLY and I freaked out that Ro was maybe possibly DEAD. If Ro had shown up on DS9 at all as a Maquis, I would have been happy.

I can't think of five people to have sex with Ro, though. But that could be because I'm blocking certain people out. Talia's easy, because I've been slutting her out in my head since day 1.

Go outside canon? Be wacky and go for time travel? (she'd kick Kirk, though. Maybe Five People who wanted to have sex with Ro)

You should see it! It is a good Ro episode. Because she's put in a rather horrid position, because Starfleet is all "you should infiltrate these people who have been raped and tortured by Cardassians, like you... and then you should BETRAY THEM and by doing so HELP our Cardassian friends." Good one, Starfleet. There's a faboo scene in a bar where Ro gives Picard information as he pretends to pay her for sex.

Is it sad that I thought of "five people who didn't love Ro Laren"? And she could totally have done one of the Voyager Maquis people, mebbe? But they're all kind of weenies, so maybe not.

Now, I know I haven't watched this show in a while, but... Pegasus go boom, yes? ^_^

I actually was watching (more or less, schedule permitting) back when the Pegasus showed up... and I barely cared about it then. Honestly, even the "super sekrit reveal of teh last five cylons OMG!!!" tomorrow can't overcome my boredom with and aversion to this show, anymore. I'm hoping somebody posts it on their journal afterwards, but otherwise I'm fully prepared to live in ignorance. I left at the point where it started getting so damned depressing, and nothing anyone has said has convinced me that this has changed at all - except maybe to get worse.

At least old-school BSG quit before it aggressively started to suck.

(And in response to the other conversational thread going on here, I'm thrilled she showed up in the post-DS9 novels. She's still alive, still snarky, still Ro... ^_^)
