If you'd asked me at the end of season two, I totally would have completely agreed. In fact, I would have said Kara would have done everything in her power to get rid of the child.

Unfortunately, thanks to Ron's Wheel of Characterization, and Kacey, she might not hate it that much. I still don't think she'd want the kid, though. Argh. I need to finish the sequel to my very fluffy Kara Gets Pregnant fic, because it isn't a fluffy ending. Although, there is no baby killing.

God. Um, way back during season one, I wrote a blurb of Kara finding out she was pregnant and going to get an abortion from Cottle. So, yeah. Kara? Not really into kids. And I know someone's written a fic from the "parasite in her belly" kind of angle.

I would have been happier if we'd gotten her and Anders playing house than with the stupid Kara/Lee crap. Although, it says something when I'd rather see the K/L stupidity rather than the recent Issue of the Week crap.

And. God. I realized at work yesterday just WHY I hate Ron's take on abuse. Because he basically says you can never be free of it, life will always smash you down and you might as well just give up. And abuse the next in line, since, y'know, the cycle can never be broken.

this is... sort of drunken babbling? I don't know, I think I hit a 'slightly tipsy' plateau and now I'm not getting any drunker. sigh.

And long, fucked-up fic is GOOD.
