I'm really liking Dresden Files, it's light and fluffy, with snark and wit. Yeah, the plots are pretty, um, predictable, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. And Bianca was highly attractive.

Someone should write Archie Goodwin and her meeting, because the dialog would be utterly fantastic. And Archie is SO the kind of guy she'd go for.

Also! Bob. Oh, Bob, you cry at French movies, you poor poor ghost.

Bob needs to get laid.

If it weren't for Kara and Sam Anders, I'd stop watching.

Roslin. I don't know who that was, but that was NOT the woman who wanted expected daily reports on the health of the prison ship's prisoners.

Adama. I have no words, but I really don't know who he was.

Chief. Visiting the man who signed his wife's death warrant. Don't know who he was, either.

Cally. Actually, I recognize her.

Kara and Seelix. The only watchable things in the episode. Also, Seelix really WAS needed on the deck, but, well, she might make a good pilot. She's got the balls for it.

Baltar and Six. Um... I'm sure they were in character. I don't know, they certainly weren't enough to make me pay attention.

Next week: Kara and her Special Destiny have an encore performance performing, "Nobody Knows..."

I believe so, yes. I was referring to Nero Wolfe's chief secretary/detective. Usually associated with fast-talking women who might shoot him if he's an idiot.

Happy Archie thoughts before bed. I miss Escamillio. A&E could have made a lot less Horatio Hornblower movies and more Nero Wolfe.

And I just realized I never did buy Season two of Nero Wolfe. I sense a visit to Best Buy in my near future and perhaps a reread of Some Buried Caesar.

Oh, and you must finish what you began. The world needs more Archie and NOT being slashed with Saul.

I kid you not. Almost every Nero Wolfe fic I've come across is Archie/Saul. And I think there was an Arch/Fritz one that I laughed at before I ran away screaming. Dude, what about Lily? And I guess Archie's deep appreciation of the female form was just a front. Pages and pages of the series are spent with Archie ogling women or contimlating them after he's ogled them. Yeah, okay people who can not contiplate a character unless he's slashed with someone.

Archie's love for women is hiding his deep need to be screwed by other men. Right.

This, right here, is the number one reason boyslashers are fucking stupid.

Next up Kara's dumb destiny, but on the plus side it has Leoben and Sam so that's a plus!

Well, we're supposed to get Sam. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Bianca was smokin', just not... er, cigarellos or anything. I don't think it was Morena, but the actor looked very much like her.

I've liked it since it started. I actually look forward to it more than to BSG. Which is sad, although, I suppose since the only reason I watch BSG is for Kara's hotness and Sam Anders and explosions, that could be why.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't, but I didn't pay much attention to the guest credits, other than to note Murphy was listed and she wasn't in the episode.

oh man. i am really getting nervous about this maelstrom stuff. poor katee. i can't believe she didn't get more use this season. i've said it before but she is such a tremendous actress and i hope that she whatever she eventually does is up to her level.

Eh, I'm not holding my breath about Maelstrom. I expect it to be about as badly-done as a Mercedes Lackey/Anne McCaffrey Battered Special Child book. I'll probably not even watch the first-run, so I can fast forward the bits I don't want to bother watching.

Now, if he'd just actually be on the show. Sigh.

Man, BSG is totally characterisation wheel of fortune at the moment. Can we bring back the Cylons so the humans can start acting like humans again?

Absolutely not! We must have a show about how awful humans are, and how right the Cylons were!
