I was all set to go post the compiled batch of icons from last night at the bsg icon community, when I remembered they don't want bases posted. And then I'm cranky, because while most of mine can be used as bases, I don't want bloody text on them. And the line between base and Arty Icon Du Jour Of The Month is non-existent as far as I'm concerned.

And, really, I'm not going to pull all of the textless icons just because they didn't take ten thousand brushes and fucking textures and three-quarter-inch sleeves and border shit. GOD. I fucking hate icon trends and how slavish you have to be to them.

Now I'm cranky.

Also, I have written revisionist history for Unfinished Business and I even have a reasonable backstory for it, and, despite that, I don't want to bloody post it.

Aw, hell. If there's any of Kara and Lee, they are always more than welcome at beyond_insane, you know. I didn't realize that galactica_icons was so weird. I do a lot of under-decorated icons and I don't want to have to fuss them up to meet some "non-bases" definition. I see lots of icons there that are mostly cropping and some colour correction. So go ahead and post!

Oh, I plan to. I just had to get over my own hatred of the concept--which was easy, once I remembered that, well, I got my start in fandom writing revisionist history, so there's this whole thing about glass houses and stuff.
