my heart will goo ooon.

DEAR SAM,

When your girlfriend says, "Hi, honey." and then gives you the "Let's go have sex" look? IT IS A GOOD PLAN TO DRAG HER OFF AND GET GRASS IN BAD PLACES.

I don't care if Colonel Tigh was matching you drink for drink. You still have hands and a mouth.

Saddened by the lack of porn,
Lyssie.

Dear Ellen,

Please don't ask Saul if he thinks Kara and Sam are the two of you, but younger. It scares me.

But you do have nice legs,
Lyssie

Dear Saul,

You got him drunk on purpose. You're a very bad man.

But your wife has nice legs,
Lyssie

Dear Kara,

Please stop with the longing looks at Lee. 'cause, seriously, wtf? You have a beautiful man right by your side. Drag him off for sex.

Still saddened by the lack of porn,
Lyssie

Dear Bear,

The Kara/Lee Love Theme is Titanic music. I'm not sure that's what you were trying for, but it's kind of pathetic and sad. And makes me laugh hysterically and be unable to find them at all interesting.

Hrm. Maybe that's why you did it?
Lyssie

Yay for hating writers based on hearsay. . .and Grant really doesn't make himself hard to mock. There are days when I really appreciate him; his Jean characterization overall was awesome, and when I write her a lot, as I have been lately, it gives me a lot to draw on. Still, I think Scott should be allowed to get a restraining order against him.

The T/K book I'm reading isn't Soldier X; it's just called Cable (it might have eventually morphed into Soldier X -- Cable's been in a lot of books and I can't keep track of them all. But it's a solo book where Cable basically goes around the world to trouble spots; the issues collected in trade are from 2000-2002 or so, IIRC. In Shining Path he is taken hostage by Peruvian guerillas, and is sexually molested by a woman who looks remarkably like Jean. *reverently* It is awesome. Granted, it's quite possible that Igor Kordey is incapable of drawing a woman who DOESN'T look remarkably like Jean. But seriously, I don't think Peru is known for its redheads. That part was just gratuitous.

I've been told I'd like his Jean, actually. Just. Everything else. Sigh.

Ahhh. Heh. I think that was originall Soldier X, when they switched for some silly reason, then lost half the readership, then cancelled it... etc. (wash, rinse, repeat, OH MARVEL, you are run by such intelligent people).

I've read part of that bit, I think. Isn't he invincible at that point?

At the end of the first trade, which is around issue 100, Cable gets rid of the TO virus; after that, all the inner energy that he's had to direct toward keeping the virus in check has no place to go, and he's losing control of his power. Then he basically tries to kill himself because he realizes he's getting too dangerous and. . .

that's where the second trade ends. So I don't know what happens. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to involve a long-distance and weirdly intimate psychic rapport with his stepmother. Though, if I ever write that fic, it well might.
