ff'net and YOU....

HAH. My supposition that posting Kara/Anders to ff'net would pretty much garner no feedback? Yeah. Born out (Circe, you've read it all already).

Surprisingly, the Dualla/Lee fic got a review.

Someone wanted to know why Kara and Lee don't end up together in ShagAThonAGoGo. I politely told her Chief has better stamina (my immediate response of, "Because I fucking hate Kara/Lee" would have been rude).

Still, if you add up all of the reviews I've ever gotten... It's still at least a thousand less than Nancy of the fruity wine fic, or the half-thousand Mary Sue authors. Probably far less than most of the Kara/Lee authors on there, too. Certainly a hell of a lot less than the other Sam/Jack authors.

Hell, the people who demand feedback to finish stories get more feedback than me.

Luckily, I keep reminding myself: the goodness of a story is in direct proportion to the amount of feedback. The more feedback, the more crap.

Buwhahaha. I have also noticed that the more...er...complex and/or subtle the story is the way less reviews it is likely to have. ffnet is a funny, funny thing (though, having a willing audience for a wip? Priceless). The fics of mine I am most proud of often garner the least reviews (but the most on LJ...puzzle me that). And no, I didn't just call ffnet readers simple or LJ people more intelligent. That would be mean. And a stereotype.

I have more to say...but I'm not going to continue unless you give me feedback on the first half of this comment.

*laughs*

I'm too busy making screencaps from Downloaded. Maybe later.

And the, ah, stereotype generally holds true. (although, in some cases, it's just that fandom is flonqin' odd, and so stuff that takes ten minutes and no characterization gets more feedback, but the stuff you spend time on and agaonize over is... ah, ignored.)

I had an anonymous feedback from NoOneYouKnow typed up on your fic at ffnet, but what can I say...I chickened out. I suck. Basically it said:

"Great fic, but it would be better if it had more Lee/Kara. M'kay?" But more with the typos and belligerence.

BNWHAHAHAHAHAH. I probably would have mocked said review.
