Last spam of the evening...

Songs. Two. 'cause, yes. Someone else should have my playlist.

U2 - Songs from 'Pop' that are good. (actually, I think the whole album is quite spiffy, but many people have apparently panned it on the basis of hating 'Discotheque'.)
Wake up Deadman - seriously. This is the Nathan Dayspring song of CHOICE. It is also good for listening to whilst contemplating post-apocalyptic things. And someone should vid it for poor Gaius.
If You Wear That Velvet Dress - This song is like really good, really intense sex. please ignore my lack of basis for comparison. Possibly because listening to Bono's voice is, um, yes. It's also the music itself. Not a good song to listen to at work when one has just discovered that Dee looks really hot covered in dirt...

Ooh, thank you for the song spam! I have "If You Wear That Velvet Dress", which I love, but my copy of Pop went missing in an international move and I've never got around to buying it again.

I always liked Pop myself. I might even put it above Joshua Tree on my favorites list (I know people would consider that sacrilege).

Wake Up Dead Man, yeah, I can see Nathan there. I always wondered If You Wear That Velvet Dress was a reject from Achtung Baby, because that album is wall to wall sex. But Bono's voice on that song is like he's whispering in your ear. And inspired me to buy a velevet dress that I've never worn.

I suddenly realize that for whatever insane reason I don't have Pop on my mp3 player. I have the album. Why isn't it here? This is gonna bug me all day now, because I'm trapped at work with no record stores near by.

The whispering is kinda exactly why, um, yes.

(I'm still kinda mentally stuck in porn-landia right now. Bono is not helping. Neither is the Bowie someone is taunting me with.)
