So, my fic wasn't that far off-base with what Brennan would say. Go me.
ALSO. Brennan has fuckbuddies. This is good to know.
Still, Booth was the king of Booty tonight. And the conversation with his ex (and Brennan's with her) was very good. It was sweet and, yeah, they still feel the pull of Teh Hot Sexx0rz, but they're moving on.
And she thinks he's a good father to Parker, so, score!
The case itself?
UGH. If I never see a bathtub full of acid and body again, it will not be soon enough.
I'm amused that the women WERE that good at acting, and pulled the wool over everyone's eyes.
Booth and Brennan being at odds (like lovers who'd had a fight, or good friends who were suddenly really uncertain where they stood with each other) was nicely done. They still have enough chemistry to make one glance seem like a thousand, er... Not going there.
OH. And Rebecca and Booth's last conversation was also two adults dealing with life. NICELY done.
Angela and Hodgins continue to amuse me.
And Zack got to go Outside! Yay!
One hopes he's still working on his thesis.
Definitely liking Cam. She and Brennan come at things from different angles, and it's nice to see that they're not exactly clashing. They're still feeling their way (they're two VERY different women), and they're still uncertain what the boundaries are.
But, yay.

Okay, I go for the obvious couple in this show, and I just really liked that Bones did something for Booth tonight without his knowing about it. Because it's usually Booth who does that sort of stuff, but tonight, Brennan did something nice for him. And there was no payoff for her except knowing it'd make him happy. I dig that. A lot.
Plus, the eye-sex was awesome.
