SFF: The I should make dinner. At the commercial break of the second run of Lantis edition...
SG-1: OMG.
Lantis: GLEE.

-Oh, the opener seemed to be a mockage of BSG and its unaired 'previouslies', but it was not. This saddens me, for I was cackling. Instead, we got to see pandas! And then they died. THANK GOD.
-Mitchell: Zombie Slayer.
-Sam was cute and snarky, man. Can I have one? Also? HOT in the Chiana leather. And she did the head twitch.
-Teal'c! He's a bad mutha-jaffa!
-I had so much love for this episode (even when "Wow, do I look older than your PARENTS" Jack showed up). And possibly little to say.
-Cutting the credits, blowing up the mountain, injuring Siler, killing Walter a lot... The walkingtalkingshooting Escape... "That was too easy."
-Vala.
-Sam, being the leader in the "Let's make Mitchell believe Jack's his dad" taunt. Not to mention that she remained firm about the file he couldn't read (that would be the one where they were infiltrated, and Sam yelled at Maybourne. iirc, that was one that was never to be released for people to read or know about).
-Invisible Jack saying "No." to Sam's question in the showers. PRICELESS. Because Jack is just that stupid.
-Seriously, Jack's continual dissing of Sam and inability to love her technobabble has pretty much sealed my dislike of the pairing. It's kind of weird. Now, fanon!Jack in my head? He's ok. But myJack is not canon!Jack, who apparently doesn't really know what to do with a woman (Kerry must have been his last-ditch effort to use viagra).
-There was a slash reference. Wow. I'd be so underwhelmed, really. Y'know, if one-half of my pairing was utterly uninterested in figuring out what the other meant, and seemed to be completely BAFFLED by the concept? Yeah. I wouldn't be gleeing or claiming it proves their love. Complete incomprehension. That was what I was looking for.
-That said, I also wouldn't be gleeful about a wedding. That never happened. And didn't seem to be something EITHER participant wanted. (sidenote: AT saying the kisses with Pete were more passionate is highly true. Mmm. Kisses.) Although, Teal'c and Thor were KICKIN'. Also. She's never going to break the 'sir'. ALSO OMG. "Yeah, right. If I want to torture the audience on purpose." BWAHAHAHAHA. Take that, you stupid, romance-novel-writing fantwits!
-I'm beginning to see I really don't like Jack much. This makes it far easier to write Sam/Kara.
-PETER I LOVE YOU.
-Stacey's actress mocking the boys' club was great. So was the fact that I think they ARE getting better at it.
-PUPPET SG-1. OMG. PAPA GENERAL HAMMOND FOR TEH WIN.
-Though, Marionette!Teal'c for TEH WIN.
-That thirty seconds of Fargate was BEAUTY. Right down to Thorgel. I'd totally love more. Especially with Ben trying to do Stark (frell me dead, but I died LAUGHING at that accent. OH BEN DON'T EVER CHANGE)
-Er, I guess the Star Trek was amusing. I wasn't paying attention (though, I guess this means Mitchell is Kirkin' it uppls god, let him nail Vala and Sam)
-teen!SG-1. SAM/MITCHELL OTP. And Daniel wangsts after Mitchell while Vala isn't sure if Ba'al is her babydaddy or notMaybe it's Leoben.
-FISHING. Marty, FISHING MEANS SEX. There was OT4 at that cabin, baby. And then OT7, I guess, with Jack watching. AND I WOULD LIKE A SCREENCAP of Vala/Cam fishing. BECAUSE. omg. so cute.
-I'm done now, I think.

If you're not a Weir fan, I'm surprised you watched the episode. Heck, if you're not, please stop reading my fucking journal. (I suppose I should say the same about people not liking Sam, yet reading my lj. 'cause, honestly, if you're not down with my girls, there's really no point to your existence, is there.)
-The opening was a great hook. And, despite the fact that Next Generation did it first (I need to rewatch Frame of Mind now), and Buffy did it (badly), it's still a decent concept.
-Liz in leather and jeans. *happysigh*
-This episode produced less glee of the "Wow, this is an original storyline!" and more glee of the, "Wow, Sheppard has nothing to do, so he's sitting there watching Liz sleep. Gosh."
-No, seriously. He could have been off doing a ton of stuff (even in only five hours). Teyla and Ronon, for instance, went off and had sex.
-It's hard to explain the glee of watching Liz punch a man and then kick a computer off a desk. But it's there. And my girl fought. She needs some more lessons, though.
-Still with the glee in Liz defeating it mostly on her own. OMG. She just needed a little vocal prod from her FRIENDS. (Or, in the shippy sense, only John's dulcet voice could get through to her).
-Speaking of John -- the end scene. She never thanked him. And they were... I swear she wanted to grab him and kiss him and then kick his ass for breaking quarantine.
-Back to Liz. She just... Kicked so much ass. She went through so many different emotions, from fear to anger to resignation to anger to... *flails* I loved meeting her mother, I loved getting to know a little more about her, and I LOVED that they basically went, "Hey, bitches, she really was DAMNED IMPORTANT, so stop hating on her for being useless."
-Also? She wears pink to bed.
-And spits out her drugs a lot.
-And runs straight at the guys shooting at her--without knowing if she could do it or not. I just. *incoherent flailing*
-Also. She killed nanites WITH HER BRAIN.
-I just... this is the kind of thing I like. Fuck the wraith, fuck the genii, just give us more Liz.

I like Sam, and I like Liz, but I like Jack too. Now that he came back for a week to clown around on SG1 and to contribute legitamitely to plot in Atlantis (even if he was a hallucination), I'd like him to come back and legitamitely contribute to plot in SG1 more often. I read a quote from RDA somewhere that said something like, "If I knew it'd be so much fun I'da come back sooner"; I hope that means he'll come back more often.

Although to be fair, I don't think that this Jack is canon!Jack either. I think Canon!Jack left the show after season eight and since then it's been special guest star RDA-as himself! I still love the pairing, but as far as I'm concerned, I got my ending at the end of Threads and Moebius.
