bsg2003fics. It's my never-ending crusade to provide alternative fic to the glut of Kara/Lee it contains. Generally, there's more than me, though. There are some good gen authors and some good non-K/L authors who post fairly regularly.
It's just that, right now, it looks like the only thing that gets written is bad K/L fic.
And I'd hate to have someone not read good fic (like Ingrid's, Ana_grrl's, Stars_like_dust's, etc) because they got frightened away by the thrity-thousandth "Kara and Lee have sex and pointless angst while Dee/Anders/someone else gets injured and/or hurt" fic.
Well, I thought I had posted something about 'enough already, fucktards', but I don't see it, so I've been wondering if it was deleted, but are you seeing it? Basically, I just wondered aloud why did people have such extreme trouble with labeling spoilers correctly and better still, why did people continually bitch and moan about being spoiled. I mean, if I were trying to remain spoiler free, I'm not hanging around a comm that repeatedly demonstrates that it has trouble with spoilers.
Did I start a war? I don't see anything in mine-I wonder why that is?
Oh, then it's nothing then. I was hoping to start some screeching, but it doesn't even look like my message made it. Oh, well. Still, that one girl's user name just irks me to no end.
I don't know...it just gets my back up annd it conjures up visions of some backwoods fuck from Arkansas. Also, it probably doesn't help that she's constantly butting in and reminding people of the rules (and coming across so fucking sanctamonious)-and she isn't a mod!!! I think she gets off on her self-righteousness, and her user name doesn't help, that's for damn sure.
In all honesty, I've no memory of whether I've ever paid attention to her. Possibly not. But then, my most vivid memories tend to be of Jaka and the misogyny of the list at large.
Oh, I haven't forgotten about them. Nor Telkena for that matter. I've been incredibly bored the past few days and made the mistake of reading her latest-which is periodfic. SQUICK!!!
