HI.

Yes, I exist. I'm sure there's lots I should talk about, but I really don't know what to say.

1. Wizard World was a blast, and my sleep deficit from the weekend meant I passed out when I got home from work (which I almost didn't do, as I started to fall asleep THREE TIMES while on the highway) for an hour and a half (I had the brain to turn on the alarm before falling over).

2. Cappucino Hazelnut cheesecake. omg. Orgasm in a wedge. (and it causes porn, too)

3. I write porn because it is pretty. I read it to mock, generally. Sometimes, though, it's actually good.

4. I write more women than men, because men are over-represented and fleshed out in every fandom I write in (save new Battlestar Galactica and Farscape), because most authors find women boring (although, they'll fill out backstory and character for the stereotypical males). In fact, I've gotten irritated enough to pretty much ignore men, for the most part.

5. Srsly. Orgasmic cheesecake.

6. My job is almost more boring than reading boyslash.

7. Bloom County is still the best crack ever. Although, I suppose it isn't funny if you're a republican.

8. I should remember to bring crap in from the car tomorrow. And buy the cat food.

9. This music is fucking appropriate.

I told my mom about the cheesecake last night.

"I want you to hear these words, and just respond instinctively. Cappuchino. Hazelnut. Cheesecake."

"Oooooooohhh"

Which is, really, about my reaction. As soon as I spotted it. Mm.

I like to think the women I write are fleshed out but I wouldn't be surprised if I were told I was wrong. As has happened.

It's been a long time since I read any of your stuff, but I seem to recall you wrote them just fine.

Mostly, I'm frustrated at the repeated mantra of "the show's writers don't care to flesh the female characters out" when, in fact, it's both sexes that are fairly shallow and pointless, but the fan writers will happily fill in for the men and ignore the women, or make them into horrible stereotypes.
