That aside, I'm really enjoying this book. Peel is utilising all of his characters magnificently. Sarah doesn't just stand about, she investigates, and she acts like a frelling journalist. It's quite lovely, really.

Losyn is a mongrel dog who would defend me to the death and who I love dearly in spite of me being as far in advance of him as the Doctor is of his companions. The only difference between Losyn and Sarah and Losyn is that Sarah is capable of logical and reasoned thought, Losyn acts on instinct.
