Seeing Sam for the first time, Jack realized that she was best thing that had ever happened to him. He discovered that he didn't really love Sara and even Charlie paled in comparison to his love for Sam and the three sets of twins they'll one day have. Of course the twins will be boy/girl sets. Sam's always been an overachiever, so what makes you think she'll be any different in how she procreates.

Dude, I'm so glad I ditched the Sam/Jack list around fifth season and never went back. Though I do love a good flamewar now and again, and it's not like Jaka wouldn't be an easy target.

(Gah, I could argue so much about how 100 days of life is NOT ENOUGH TIME to develop a coherent or cohesive sense of morality and it's all about 'if it feels good, do it' and how Jack was drunk as fuck and it was all consensual--or as much as it was going to be when they were both way loopy--and all that shit. But I don't want the agita.)

Hm. I don't *hate* Laira, per se, and she didn't know there was Sam/Jack to get between, but that woman was kinda way obsessive there. Nah, I save all my hatred for Anise, but that's not even for trying to get in between Sam and Jack (or Daniel and Janet), but because she was a manipulative person and bad scientist.

And Gods, Jaka's a fucking moron. Seriously.

I don't think Jack sleeping with Laira had anything to do with Sam, in the end. I do think it was him accepting he wasn't going to go home--and Laira is very like Sara. She was also pretty damned fab.

Actually, to me the most consistently attractive women in Stargate are Sam and Vala, but unlike Jaka, I'm also taking personalities into account. It's something people who AREN'T shallow and misogynistic do.

Mind you, that's where Jaka would start informing us that he "loves women." And then I'd be breaking out the crucifixes and holy water.
