ramblings: BSG, season two LYDB

This post will contain rambling spoilers up through season two's finale.

First. WTF was up with the 80's movie music in LYDB? Second, Gaius has a picture of himself in his office. Idiot.

Er. Anyway.

I'm still rather fond of this episode.

BUT. Dude. Sparky! NO COOKIE FOR YOU.

(I shouldn't try rambling while it's still playing)

I know. I know what I was thinking: Sam Anders and Kara Thrace are Suicide Pact Love. No, really, they are. I really don't know that Anders could have killed her, though. I know Kara could have killed him. Helo could have killed Kara, though. I think.

Also, when they get back to Galactica, and Kara's like, "Er, Dad. This is my maybesortaboyfriend and I mightwannahavehisbabies and Ikindamaybelovehim." It's very cute and fabulous.

The entire scene is an echo of Kobol. *happysigh*

And Kara and Anders are so happy. It's very lovely to see.

I think I love this season more than one.

Because, in some ways, LYDB2 wraps everything up they've been doing for the first two seasons, and then says, "And here's where life is fucking everyone up the ass with a chainsaw."

Season three will probably blow our brains out, paint dioramas with the blood and sell them on eBay.
