blah, blah...

So, I rewatched the BSG mini over the weekend. 'S been a while, and I'm not sure I ever saw it straight through.

Sgt. Hadrian is the guard on Kara's brig cell when Lee comes to visit her.

Watched 33, Water and Bastille Day last night. And, while I watched the first two straight through, I just... Bastille Day is so boring at times, I fastforwarded a bit. Hell, if I had to rate the episodes of season one, BD would be at the bottom. Though, at least it has random amusement in it.

'Course, you can't go wrong with Cally trying to be non-confrontational and then biting a guy's ear off... The prisoner says to Cally: "You don't know what tired is." And Cally's like, Bitch, I was awake for five and a half days with no frakking sleep.

One important thing noted from Water: [livejournal.com profile] musicforcylons! Sparky was going into genetics! He says it to Dr. B. right before Kara's breasts get all distracting.

sigh. work. send help.

To me any or all sins that may be presented by Bastille Day are redeemed by Apollo's speech to Adama and Roslin at the end. It's my favorite episode from season one, perhaps of the series to date.

That entire scene is lovely. But suffering through Zarek and Lee's "The Prisoners Are People Too" speeches are... mind-numblingly painful. sigh.

Poor Lee. His personal issues just weren't that interesting until he pointed a gun at Tigh.

*eyes*

I can post replies from work, but it still tries to open a window to LJ, which gets me the Big Red Stop Sign of DOOM.

But, yes. In 'Water', when Gaeta's babbling at Baltar about how he's glad to work with him on this project (after Dad assigns him), and how he's probably really good at this sort of thing, he says something about how he was going to go into genetics... if the cylons hadn't attacked.

I need to rewatch. *eyes times* 20 minutes. *clings*
