heheh

[livejournal.com profile] nique and I should totally have a contest to see who can tally more "I hated/meh'ed at X3" on their flist.

Sadly, right now, she's still winning with the person bitching about Kitty having pink piping.

*snickers*

How come she doesn't phase through her clothing?

[identity profile] dreagoddess.livejournal.com 2006-05-28 02:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Unstable molecules. Even though Reed Richards doesn't exist in this universe to invent them. Maybe Hank invented them before he left. ;)

Um, I'm pretty sure Reed exists in this universe--I saw his movie last year.

Of course. Doctor Doom invented unstable molecule fabric in the Movieverse anyway, so.

Different universes. There's been no crossover between the movies -- no mention of the X-Men in FF and none of the FF in X-Men. Just because they're both Marvel movies doesn't mean they're connected internally.

The same reason she can phase other people (and their clothing) along with her?

It's touching her skin, she phases it with her. Much like she could phase a quarter, or someone else she touches.

*FLAIL*

I should get to see it today!!

[identity profile] reddirtcowboy.livejournal.com 2006-05-28 04:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I've only got one at this point. I expect a couple more as they see the movie though.

I'm stuck in the middle and while I don't love-love it, I can't understand how people can hate on it so much.

Anyway, as long as it keeps making the money, we'll be getting another for sure. =D

I haven't seen ANY comments on my flist but I guess I can see why people will dislike it...after watching it I left the theater with the distinct feeling of sitting down with a much loved comic book with excellent writing and art only to find out that a couple pages in the middle had been torn out.

OMG I WANT THAT ICON.

I mean, um, hi, I like your icon. Yes.

[identity profile] angualupin.livejournal.com 2006-05-28 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Er, what?

Pink piping?
ext_26799: (*sigh*)

[identity profile] nique.livejournal.com 2006-05-28 05:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. Her X-Men jump suit has hot pink accents. I saw it and knew someone would bitch. Sadly, I was not wrong. *smacks fans for being dumb*

[identity profile] angualupin.livejournal.com 2006-05-28 05:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Um... Ok.

I can think of, well, other things to complain about (like, I don't know, Mags leaving 'Stique behind?), but, whatever sinks your submarine.

[identity profile] kkglinka.livejournal.com 2006-05-28 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah? Maybe they need a refresher on Sprite's original costume. I thought the different color pipings were nice.

[identity profile] greycoupon.livejournal.com 2006-05-28 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe I should go see it so I can help you win. :)

Should Kitty have pink piping? A different color? No piping at all?

Given Kitty's penchant for pink in comic canon...
