Demons, coming out of the walls, touching and pulling on my ears. This fear was NOT HELPED by my father (Christian man that he is), telling me (with sincerity and the whole 'pray to God to protect you' racket) that demons liked to come to Earth to torment humans, to make them lose their faith. And that they could touch you. YES. I swear, I still can't sleep without covering my ears.
