Mmm. Old music.

Or recent, anyway. Dude. Whatever happened the The Jets? They were so, so, trying to be soul and ended up pop. Or maybe that's just me. They're what hip hop and that musical style has to thank for actually bringing it to the mainstream, I suppose.

Because, at one point in time, everyone listened to The Jets.

I mean, seriously. "Rocket 2 U"

(Actually, that song could have been written by Wierd Al, the lyrics are so bad... SERIOUSLY, "Don't call me when your car just won't go into second gear/or when your kitchen sink is shooting water in your ear..." Thanks, man, glad to know you only WANT HER FOR SEX)

Hrm.

Funny you should mention them...I was cleaning out my 80s folder of music and came across a few songs by them.

Bwah. *amused* I can still sing the songs, it's disturbing.

I can too. Truly disturbing.

There were just too damn many of them, and weren't they all related in some form or another? Explosion of the bad kind waiting to happen.

They were all siblings, iirc. And they traded off on singing, etc, etc...

Total time bomb.
