lyssie: (Taylor Creegan Just This)

god.... I love this show.

Touching Evil. Best. Thing. Ever.

The UK version, of course. The US version was utter shit.

"...he shot her."

God.

There are such edges on them all. Not to mention that Creegan keeps invading Susan's personal space.

WHY DO I NEVER REMEMBER TO WATCH BBC AMERICA FOR THIS? WHY?

I do not know. Er. Because it's a weird night for it to be on?

It needs to be annouced in GLOWING NEON. Yes.

I only remembered because I turned the channel, and suddenly had angsty!Rivers on my screen.

Greetings, other half of my brain! I will watch it when it repeats. Such a good show.

*hands the other half of her brain some chocolate*

Take note of Creegan's inability to stay away from Taylor's personal space. Also? Mom and Dad.

*gobbles chocolate, offers tequila*

I saw a few episodes of the American version of this and hated it; thank goodness I can finally see the real one. D'you by any chance watch Bad Girls?

It was... god, it was painful. They'd gutted the thing completely to make it 'American'.

No, I've vaguely heard of it, but, er... Haven't really been watching tv much (new tv, anyway)

I think you'd like it. It's about a women's prison in London. I'm actually considering the DVDs. You should check it out.

Keep watching. There's one hell of a shock yet to come, especially if you like Rivers.

Aye. *sad* Poor heartless Rivers.

Although, it's interesting to have watched this episode again, because this one was always rather painful and awkward (a credit to acting and writing), and the subject matter... *shudder* But, anyway, it's interesting to watch, as there's bits I caught this time through. Like Rivers saying he didn't even know why he was at the OSC.

this one? oh, one of the whole reasons i love this show is because, to me, every episode is awkward and painful. i love that.

They are! But this one especially. I think the, ah, subject matter triggers something in my hind-brain or something.

Either that, or I hate it when the kids are all arguing. *sniffle*

Although, it's worth it for Dave and Susan at the end. "Did I drive him to this?" "No, Susan..." blahetc. *cackle*
