Painkiller Jane.

Not as bad as I'd thought it would be. Oh, it had some of the standard SFC cliches, but surprisingly, it was also good.

The changes in story are amusing, as she's now the dead version of Jarrod from The Pretender. Sort of. He was a Mary Sue, too.

I really liked her. But then, I have a thing for tough chicks who kick things, blow shit up and kill people.

*happysigh*

Nicely-shot, too, though they went a little over-board on the "OMG!EDGY!" camera work (much like Galactica does).

And Leoben! OMG!

Jane/Leoben = new OTP. And I actually missed every scene they were in together, as my dad called.

MWAHAHA.

Er. Yes. Will watch again later.

Yes! I thought it was pretty awesome, though the ending felt rushed.

No and yes.

There's lots of changes. I like some of them, didn't like others. And, honestly, I don't think you could DO her original origin without having to do 22 Brides, as well (which would make me glee). sigh. Oh well, though.

It was decent enough I'm tapying the re-run to watch again at some point.

It was an Event Comics comic, Quesada and Palmiotti came up with it, then chained Fabian into a chair and made him write it. Actually, it branched off from 22 Brides.
