aaaaaaaugh

Went to Holiday Folk Fair with Timey's parents today. It was fun, and I had a tasty gyro.

Then, just now, went to run to Walgreens, and Moya won't start. *headdesk* Although at least it happened now, and not, say, in the morning when Timey has to be in class in 15 minutes.

So Timey's dad is coming down to poke at it. Sounds like it's the battery (which was manufactured in '97, and is, quite possibly the battery my car came with--and the car is a '99), so it shouldn't be too brain-splatty.

ETA: And have I mentioned how much I sometimes hate being a girl?

eta2: Quite obviously the battery, as one terminal was so corroded, it pulled part of the battery off instead of unscrewing itself. He's going to have to come back tomorrow with a bigger wrench to get the metal and crap off. Sheesh.

You call your car Moya.

...that is both so incredibly geeky, and so incredibly cool at the same time.

Drea and Timey are to blame. Because, dude, she's been Moya-like, transporting the Madhouse and crew around for two years. And she is reddish and slightly leviathan-shaped. And zips along.

Disturbingly enough, we share similar temperaments. I'm not a large, crustacean, however. Generally.
