cold out.

Got a response on my claim for "women of Blake's 7" on ff100. Apparently, they must be specific people/teams. Erm. Whatever. I'd guessed they wouldn't let me, now I know I was right.

Am still sick and coughing. Spent half the night waking up from either coughing, drowning in phlegm, or my tooth hurting. sigh. Hello, jaw, yes, I know you ache. Today is bound to be full of stupid people.

*looks pathetic*

*coughs*

"Hello? Yes, I'm afraid she can't come to work today. You know, her. Don't accuse me of not knowing her real name! I know it! I.... just don't want to tell you, that's all. Hm? I'm her mother. Yes, I know I have an unusually deep voice for a woman. I have a condition called... Deep Voice Syndrome."

...Nah, I don't think it would work if I did it.

*Hugs* & virtual hot toddy to you. Hopes you feeling better soon. Lots of rest and keep up with the fluids.

And tell work that a doctor told you not to go in as you may be contagious!

Everyone around me is sick this week.

Maybe it was because she considered herself a frak-up, but she put her pilots through the

wringer. And they loved her for it. She took no crap from them, and gave back her wit,

intelligence, and exacting piloting skills. Some were even attempting the same daredevil

"What are you wearing?" The Doctor's tone was almost one of horror.

Jo Grant twirled, the multi-coloured skirt belling out around her shapely legs. "Don't you

like it? They're all the rage."

"Yet more proof of the insanity inherent in this planet," he muttered, going back to

fiddling with his gadgets.
