They broke Gaius. I hope they can fix him so he can stop Adama from yelling "KAHN!"

I could not watch the Boomer-beating scene the second time around. The first time got me seriously upset, and I had to slip outside with a drink on the second viewing.

It's incredibly intense. Although I found that first shot of poor Pegasus!Six oddly more affecting, as is Boomer curling under her sheet.

*laughs* Actually, on further viewing, I think there were women there. Which makes me wonder if they participated in the rapes, too (I just... can not mentally fathom a woman, or group of women, condoning rape. The ones in my head react like Cally--even if you've dehumanized the toasters. But then, I wonder what Racetrack would say about Sharon's rape.)

I know! But Pegasus had 15 more minutes that were cut and will be reintegrated in the episode on the DVD, so I hope we'll see her stealing the blackbird.

And I sure hope we'll see her doing crazy stuff in her flippy ship in january, because Kara/flippy ship = OTP foverer! I love, love how much she loves her planes, and how, every time there's a new ship (okay, it was just the cylon raider and the blackbird), it's Kara's ride.

They have now moved to the top of my "Bitchslap for pointless scenecuts" list. They know how long an episode is going to run. If they're going to have 15 more minutes, they should just make it two episodes and shuffle things around. (I had the same irritations in regards to the 'deleted' scenes from the first season, although Farscape did that the first season, too, so THEY were at the top of the list).

Of course it will be on the dvd.

Not a problem! Of course it's annoying that they had to cut it, but I think that Ron Moore said that he tried to turn it into a two-parter, but they didn't have enough for two eps. Apparently, he liked the long version so much that we'll get it like that on the DVDs, which is still better than having the cut scenes as deleted scenes. *feels very Pollyanna today*.

Still, I wanted to see Kara stealing her ride and totally lying to the Pegasus deck chief. Bleh.

Not enough Kara, indeed. It's a damn good thing that this episode was so excellent, because it kept me from wanting to scream at the tragic lack of Girlfriend scenes. *sigh*

They will be in the director's cut on the DVDs. Yes. Absolutely, or else.(There was at least one still on Dark thoughts.net, of Kara looking fabulous in her blue uniform and talking with Adama and Roslin in a conference room. That has to be on the DVD.) The director's cut we'll get to see in September 2006! *cries*
