I've been juggling through, and it seems like yeah... Spider's going nuts and trying to maintain control when he's the only admin.
He slammed down on outside comments not so much because of outside commenting, but the sheer fact that 2 out of the 3 were duplicates of FH characters. So, he decided to lay the smack-down instead of adressing the real issue directly.
::sigh::
And again, because these are all private complaints, and then Spider responds in the most public way possible, it comes out of the fucking blue like a damn freight train.
I vote you give it more time, too. We've had a really bad string of stupidity in a row... but hopefully things will move on.
You know what I find kind of funny/ironic about this? From what I hear of Spider's admin problems, they're like the complete antithesis of the character Spider Jerusalem.
I mean, this is the guy who basically spends the entire comic bringing down corrupt and incompetent government officials.
